Child of God Children Ministry is an emerging orphanage with 52 children under its care, supported by 4 dedicated unpaid volunteers. Our mission is to transform over 1000 children's lives by providing them with shelter, quality education, and essential resources for a brighter future. We are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and sharing the Gospel. Your support helps us provide a strong spiritual foundation and education to these children, empowering them and their communities.

Our Progress

In the last 7 years have managed to provide food for more than 567 families around our village through outreach efforts, we have managed to deliver sanitary pads for more than 500 girls who majorly isolate themselves in dark rooms due to lack of pads during their menstruation periods especially those experiencing it did the first time. We have also managed to educate half of the number of the children at the orphanage which means the rest don’t go to school but we are praying for a helping hand.

At first the ministry had not more than 20 children and one of the first children we parented is called Namatovu Shakirah, A child that was found more than hopeless after losing her both her parents in a car accident and given refuge by our local church then into my hands after pledge of Bankruptcy from our local pastor in 2013 who later passed on in January of 2015.

Shakirah is now 13yrs and studying her 7th grade this year whereby she’s joining HighSchool or College according to the Uganda 🇺🇬 Education Curriculum.

What kind of financial accountability do we have?

Child of God Children Ministry, supported by four dedicated unpaid volunteers, places great emphasis on financial accountability, conducting an annual independent audit to maximize resources for the children in our care.
